1. The short version

MiBida does not collect your data. Everything you log stays on your phone. We never see it, and we have no server to send it to.

2. What we collect

Nothing. MiBida has no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. The app contains no code that connects to the internet.

3. Permissions

MiBida asks for the minimum the operating system requires for the features you turn on. It does not request internet access, so it cannot send anything off your device.

PermissionPurpose
Notifications Show the reminders you schedule, and vibrate when one fires. Requested only when you turn on reminders in Settings.
Biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint) Unlock the app when you have turned on the app lock. The check is done by your operating system; MiBida only learns whether it passed.
Run at startup (Android) Re-register your scheduled reminders after the phone restarts, so none are lost.

4. Where your data lives

Everything you enter (your events, logs, notes, tags and settings) is stored in the app's private storage on your device. Other apps cannot read it, and neither can we.

If you turn on the app lock, your PIN is kept in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). If you use Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint, your operating system does the check. MiBida only learns whether it succeeded. It never sees or stores your biometric data.

5. What leaves your device

Nothing leaves your device unless you send it yourself:

  • Exports (CSV or PDF). When you export, MiBida opens your phone's share sheet. You pick where the file goes (email, a messaging app, a cloud drive), and from then on the privacy terms of that service apply.
  • Encrypted backups. A backup is a file protected with a password you choose. It goes wherever you save or share it. We do not receive a copy, and we cannot open it or recover a lost password.
  • Your phone's own backups. If your device backs itself up to iCloud or Google, those backups may include MiBida's data like any other app's. Apple or Google handles that under your account and their terms. MiBida is not involved.

6. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled and delivered by your phone itself. No push service is involved and nothing is sent over the network. Reminder text can appear on your lock screen, depending on your phone's notification settings.

7. Deleting your data

  • In the app: Settings → Reset All Data permanently deletes everything.
  • Uninstalling MiBida removes all of its data from the device.
  • You can also delete individual log entries or events at any time.

Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request you need to make.

8. Children

MiBida is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. MiBida never sends your data to us, so all of it is already in your hands on your device, where you can view, export or delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. If MiBida ever adds a feature that sends data off your device, it will be opt-in, explained in the app first, and described here before it ships.
